Sealed tenders for the aerial application of fertilizer will
be received by the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource
Operations and Rural Development, Thompson Rivers Forest District,
Clearwater Office, 687 Yellowhead Highway, Clearwater, British Columbia,
V0E 1N2 not later than 2:00 PM local time, Monday, August 26, 2019, at
which time all tenders will be opened in public.
- FE20DTR001 Kamloops TSA 1009.8 hectares total fertilizer
application 569,527.2 kg with potential of 624 hectares overflow at an
application rate of spread at 564 kg's a hectare
- FE20DTR001 Merritt TSA 1000 hectares total fertilizer
application 545,000 kg with potential of 100 hectares overflow at an
application rate of spread at 545 kg's a hectare. In year two (2) of the
contract, funding dependent, there will be an additional 1000 hectares
treated with an application rate of 545 kg's a hectare under the Low
Carbon Economy Fund FCI funded.
Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the terms and
conditions specified in the tender package.
The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be
accepted. This solicitation is subject to the New West Partnership Trade
Agreement (NWPTA), the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Agreement
between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States
of America on Government Procurement (CUSPA), and the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).
If the Ministry posts any addendum to the Tender Documents
it will be made by issuing an addendum:
a) where Tender Documents were provided directly by the
Ministry to bidders (not obtained from BC BidŽ), addendum to the Tender
Documents will be sent by the Ministry to all registered package holders;
or
b) where Tender Documents were obtained from BC BidŽ, the
Ministry will post any addendum on BC BidŽ. Bidders are solely
responsible to continually monitor the BC BidŽ website on an ongoing
basis to keep themselves informed of any addendum.

The cut-off date for questions will be Thursday, August 15, 2019, 4:30 pm
(local time). The terms and conditions of the Contract or Tender
Documents or addendum thereto supersede questions and answers or
discussions made thru enquiries. Questions and answers or discussions are
not binding unless made in writing as an addendum to the Contract or
Tender Documents.
Bidders that are not registered with BC BidŽ can register by
selecting Start your e-Service, Supplier Registration on the BC BidŽ home
page. Bidders are strongly encouraged to select "Send Me
Amendments" as an option on the Opportunity Notice published on BC
BidŽ. By selecting this option a registered Bidder will be automatically
notified of any addenda that may be issued.
This tender was previously posted to BCBid on Friday, July
12, 2019 with a closing date of Thursday, August 8, 2019. As there were
no tenders received, the works are specialized with work windows being
very marginal, it will be re-posted to BCBid Monday, August 12, 2019, for
an additional two weeks.
